New Year...New Face

Shadow Squad HQ will be getting a facelift....

Sometime early in the New Year we will be experiencing some major changes. While continuing to serve our Raven Shield players with everything they have come to love we will also be covering things like:

New games (ie Battlefield, Call of Duty, etc)

New platforms (ie Playstation 3, xBox 360, etc)

We're doing this to expand our horizons a little, and hopefully drum up some new members. Most of us like to play several games on different platforms so this will expand the brotherhood beyond Raven Shield and into those other games you love.

The website will have a splash page that offers you the option to select your gaming platform. Then you can participate in a website that is geared towards your interests. At first we will be offering PC and PS3, and other platforms may follow.

Our forums, downloads, and displayed content will be geared towards several different game titles ranging from, but not limited to, titles like

Raven Shield

America's Army

Call of Duty

Battlefield

Unreal Tournament

The new website will also be allot more interactive, and will feature things like a new chat box, video gallery, image gallery, download section, expanded forums, and a few other things.

We also intend to upgrade to a dedicated server which we will be able to run as many game servers from as we wish, and not only for Raven Shield either. We can host game servers for practically any game available. As an added bonus we can resell some of our server space to other clans to host their games on there as well!

So help us ring in the New Year with STYLE!

Keep those donations coming in so we can afford to do all of this stuff, as it should definitely pay off in the end!

Shadow Squad Adversarial Server Launch

This server has finally been launched as of a few days ago. We are currently still working out some small bugs, mainly with maps. The regular SS mods are still in effect, along with some new server mods from Twilight.

Google AdSense shareholder arrangements to be restructured

We will be restructuring our Google AdSense shares over the next few days.

This will result in a slightly larger share for Shadow Squad HQ

Each time that we reach $100 or more in our Google AdSense account I will request payment of those funds and will make a donation to our 'Donations' box on the website for whatever the Shadow Squad shares are calculated to be.

Google AdSense

As of August 6th there has been a Google AdSense block added to the bottom of the website.

In the first 48 hours we earned almost $7.00US, so if this keeps up then we won't require so many donations.

If we make enough from these ads then we would be more than happy to add yet another server. We would like to get a 16 man Adversarial server up and running anyhow.

How Google AdSense works is that every time you click on one of the ads it pays us a percentage of whatever Google's income is during that day.

One word of caution however is that you DO NOT abuse the system by overclicking on them because then they will suspend my account indefinitely and not pay out ANY earnings at all.

All we need is the odd click here and there from various members and it should help out a fair bit.
